Gillian Burnham

President

Gillian is a senior Chemical Engineering major. Before coming to Mines, she lived with her family in Denver, CO. She grew up competing in Irish Dance and likes to ski for fun. In what little remains of her free time at Mines, she can be found curled up with a good book or forcing herself to work out. She hopes to attend medical school after graduation.

Delaney Knorr

Vice President of Standards and Values

Delaney is a junior in Mechanical Engineering. She loves to either watch or play sports in her free time. She is currently on the intramural flag football and basketball teams. She also loves to binge watch Friends on Netflix or any sort of baking show.

Summer is a junior in Chemical Engineering at Mines! She is involved in a variety of activities, most recently having accepted a position as a Resident Advisor for Colorado School of Mines Residence Life!

Danella Bunavi

Vice President of New Member Education

Danella is a junior in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Outside of Sigma Kappa she enjoys hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her friends.

Taylor Anderson

Vice President of Membership

Taylor is a senior Chemical Engineering major with a focus in biology and a minor in Biomedical engineering. She’s from Denver, Colorado and participates in winter guard with Malachi Independent. In her free time, she loves to craft and get Chick-fil-a with her friends.

Heather Matthews

Vice President of Communication and Operations

Heather is a senior studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Data Science. She's from Katy, TX and loves to explore the outdoors, spend time with friends, and find new music to listen to. She is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Green Team, and she also works as a Physics Teaching Assistant.

Pilar Martin

Vice President of Finance

Pilar is a junior at Mines! She is from Guam and is happy to have found her home away from home at Sigma Kappa! Outside of her position and school, she enjoys hanging out with friends, eating good food, and not doing homework!

Continuous Open Recruitment Chair

Lexie is a junior majoring in Chemical Engineering. She likes to ski and climb and is involved in SWE and undergraduate research outside of Sigma Kappa.

Elizabeth Scheil

Formal Chair

Liza Scheil is a junior from Clarkston, Michigan studying engineering physics. She loves skiing, hiking, and eating peanut butter when she’s not doing homework. She’s often seen frantically searching for a piece of gum or making excuses to take study breaks.

Cosette McLaughlin

Sisterhood Chair

Cosette is a sophomore here at the Colorado School of Mines! Although she's not quite sure what she wants to do yet, she's very excited to be here and figure it out alongside her sisters. Her favorite Sigma Kappa Memory so far was hosting her first sisterhood event (Mug Painting!).

Phoebe Lehman

Public Relations Chair

Phoebe is a senior in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Outside of Sigma Kappa and school, she works for the registrar and Residence Life. She enjoys dancing, climbing, and singing.

Sophia Robinson

Historian

Sophia Robinson is a sophomore studying chemical engineering. She‘s lived in England, all over Texas, and most recently Colorado Springs. Hiking, hammocking, and napping are some of her favorite things to do in her free time!

Camryn is a sophomore here at the Colorado School of Mines. She's so excited to work alongside her sisters and better the chapter as Social Chair this year! Her favorite Sigma Kappa memory so far is dressing up like mustard to meet her big!

Maggie Dancho

Maggie Dancho is a sophomore currently studying mechanical engineering. Although she has lived in Colorado all of her life, she has traveled to eighteen countries. When she isn’t studying or sleeping, she can be found hiking/backpacking or making stupid jokes.

Kaitlyn is a senior in Chemical Engineering! When she's not studying for the MCAT, working on her homework, or hanging out with her sisters, you can find her working diligently at the Registrar's office (alongside some of her sisters of course)!

Sierra is a sophomore in Chemical Engineering! She's a member of the Adventure Leadership Community here on campus and is also a member of the ski team! Her favorite Sigma Kappa memory so far is getting to go to Walk To End Alzheimer's alongside all of her sisters.
